Bubbles, Bangs and Burning!

Description
Children dress up in lab coats and safety goggles to become real scientists! We start with a little game in a circle to get the children confident being together and participating in the party. Then we sit together in a circle and start by asking what is science? Children will witness exciting demonstrations including coloured flames, burning metals and meet a smelly friend who we help to get inside his bottle home by using pressure and fire! Depending on the age and the group we sometimes substitute this experiment for balloon kebabs. The children then make their own experiment around a table. This can be either a tub of slime or a bath bomb to take home (to be chosen in advance). We finish the party with a giant bubble! IMPORTANT DETAILS: Age: 5-11 Number of children: 10 (includes birthday child). Duration: 1 hour Location: Venue of your choice (home, garden, rented room) Language: English or German with Kilowatt Katy, English only with Electric Emma ADD ONS: Dry Ice Experiments: 150 CHF, 25 minutes Cotton Candy: 100 CHF Party Bags: 12 CHF each ADDITIONAL CHARGES: Sent via invoice closer to the date of your party. Additional children: 25 CHF per child. Max 4 extra children (14 guests in total). Add Ons: Dry Ice, cotton candy, party bags Milage fee: (charged when the party is 30 mins from 8926). Maximum drive time 50 mins PARTY REQUIREMENTS: Floor space where children and presenter can sit in a circle. Minimum 3 x 3m of floor space needed. Table where all the children and presenter can stand around. 180cm is usually a good size. We bring table protectors to protect your table. The party set up will require a drain, warm water, a bin and electricity (if you have chosen to add cotton candy). Quiet area where presenter and children can hear each other. During the entertainment, for safety reasons children should not eat or drink and must wash their hands after the party. Our presenters arrive 20 minutes before the party start time to set up. (10:30 or 14:30). Please invite guests 15 – 30 minutes prior to ensure there is enough time for the entertainment. In our experience there are always a few guests who arrive fashionably late! During set up and clean up our presenters need a space away from the children so they can safely prepare and clear away everything. Cancellation Policy
Party cancellations prior to 4 weeks of the party date will be offered a full refund (minus admin charges of 25chf). Party cancellation within 2-4 weeks of the party date will be refunded minus 150CHF. It is unlikely we can fill the spot with such short notice and we have to pay our presenters. Party cancellation within 1 week of the party date will be refunded minus 200 CHF. A change of date within the week will incur a 150chf admin fee as we cannot fill the spot and we must pay our presenters. Cancellation of dry ice will incur a 85CHF fee to cover costs.
