Holiday Camps

Our holiday camps combine science, sport, and discovery in a truly unique setting designed to make the school holidays exciting, enriching, and memorable.
Based on a static boat, the camp offers a very special environment with heating, air conditioning, beautiful views across Lake Zurich, access to a large sports field, and a fantastic adventure playground nearby. It is a setting that brings together comfort, adventure, and inspiration, creating the perfect backdrop for a week of learning, play, and exploration.
Designed for children aged 5–11, each camp brings together hands-on science, creative activities, active play, and engaging educational experiences. Every day is carefully planned to spark curiosity, build confidence, and encourage a genuine love of learning. Through exciting workshops and varied activities, children develop scientific enquiry skills, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, independence, and resilience, all while having enormous fun.
A special highlight of the week is the trip day, which adds an extra sense of adventure to the camp experience. For excursions, children travel in Spark Science vehicles specially equipped with child safety seats, allowing them to travel safely and comfortably as part of the day’s journey.
More than just a holiday camp, this is a place where children can make new friends, try new things, grow in confidence, and enjoy a dynamic programme that balances learning, movement, and creativity. Children leave with happy memories, new skills, and a lasting sense of achievement from a week filled with discovery and adventure.

Camp Description
Get ready for an unforgettable week of hands-on science, creativity, and adventure as young astronauts blast off to explore the wonders of space! Each day is themed around an exciting aspect of our solar system and beyond, ensuring every camper is engaged, inspired, and ready to reach for the stars.
Campers will build their own solar system models, learn why planets orbit the Sun, and explore the fascinating relationship between the Sun, Moon, and Earth. They’ll discover how these cosmic giants shape our days, nights, tides, and seasons through interactive experiments and moon orbit models.
Discover the world of NASA-inspired technology, designing and decorating solar-powered cars, learning about lunar rovers, and creating parachutes to help their rovers land safely on other worlds.
Step inside a real planetarium for a breathtaking look at stars, galaxies, and distant worlds, learning about constellations, the life cycle of stars, and what makes our universe so vast and fascinating.
Explore how living things might survive on other planets and bring alien worlds to life using microscopes to discover what type of life we might expect to find on planets closest to us.
Zooming in on the tiniest wonders of the universe, campers will investigate meteorite dust, space ice, and discover asteroids using dry ice.
Training like true space explorers, campers will stay active and by dodging asteroid attacks, moon-ball challenges, and cosmic sports. They’ll enjoy swimming, star-hunting, and cap off the week with an “Outer This World” party celebrating every astronaut’s achievements.
Join us at Camp Mission to Mars, where every day is a thrilling adventure filled with science, creativity, and discovery. It’s the perfect place for curious minds ready to blast off into a universe of fun!
