Our holiday camps combine science, sport, and discovery in a truly unique setting designed to make the school holidays exciting, enriching, and memorable.
Based on a static boat, the camp offers a very special environment with heating, air conditioning, beautiful views across Lake Zurich, access to a large sports field, and a fantastic adventure playground nearby. It is a setting that brings together comfort, adventure, and inspiration, creating the perfect backdrop for a week of learning, play, and exploration.
Designed for children aged 5–11, each camp brings together hands-on science, creative activities, active play, and engaging educational experiences. Every day is carefully planned to spark curiosity, build confidence, and encourage a genuine love of learning. Through exciting workshops and varied activities, children develop scientific enquiry skills, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, independence, and resilience, all while having enormous fun.
A special highlight of the week is the trip day, which adds an extra sense of adventure to the camp experience. For excursions, children travel in Spark Science vehicles specially equipped with child safety seats, allowing them to travel safely and comfortably as part of the day’s journey.
More than just a holiday camp, this is a place where children can make new friends, try new things, grow in confidence, and enjoy a dynamic programme that balances learning, movement, and creativity. Children leave with happy memories, new skills, and a lasting sense of achievement from a week filled with discovery and adventure.

Camp Description
Get ready for a week packed with action, creativity, experiments, and adventure at our Superheroes of Science camp. Throughout the week, children will explore the science behind some of their favourite superhero powers through exciting hands-on activities, team challenges, and active play.
The week begins with children creating their own superhero capes before diving into the world of superhero genetics, where they discover what makes every hero unique. As the camp continues, children will build and test an Iron Man-inspired hydraulic claw, explore forces and movement through storms and static, and take on our thrilling fireproof challenge.
There will be plenty of opportunities to move, play, and burn off energy too. Children will enjoy games such as Capture the Flag, test their power with Hulk strength and Flash speed, and try out Elastogirl stretch and Spiderman gymnastics. Alongside the action, they will also investigate fascinating science ideas including x-ray vision, magnet power, and even make their own superpowered resin magnet to take home.
One of the highlights of the week is our exciting trip day to Windwerk, where children can experience what it feels like to fly like Superman in a real wind tunnel. This unforgettable adventure brings the superhero theme to life in a truly spectacular way.
Later in the week, the fun continues with creative makes such as Chromatokinesis slime, colourful experiments, and a grand Superhero Colour Showdown to finish the camp in style.
As always, the camp includes a balance of hands-on science workshops, active games, creative projects, snack and play breaks, and time to relax together over lunch. It is a week designed for children who are curious, energetic, imaginative, and ready to discover the science behind being super.
At Spark Science, we love creating camps that are full of wow moments, learning, and fun, and Superheroes of Science promises to be one of our most exciting adventures yet.
