Camp Description
Wrap up warm and get ready to explore the coolest science on Earth! At our Deep Freeze Camp, children will discover the fascinating science behind ice, snow, crystals and freezing temperatures through exciting hands-on experiments, winter challenges, games and adventures.
Young scientists will investigate Absolute Zero, create beautiful cool crystals, explore the colourful chemistry of the Northern Lights, experiment with viscosity, make enormous bubbles in Bubblicious, discover the secrets of snow and snowflakes, build an exploding snowman, and even become food scientists in our Ice Cream Factory.
And the adventure doesn’t stop in the lab! Children will head out on two fantastic winter excursions: glass blowing in Hergiswil, where they can see how extreme heat transforms glass, and a day of ice skating at the Dolder Grand. There will also be plenty of action with team games, snowball dodgeball, creative activities and winter-themed challenges.
We finish our frosty week with a fantastic Winter Wonder-Lab Camp Party, celebrating everything we have discovered!
The Deep Freeze combines science, sport, creativity and adventure into one action-packed winter week – perfect for curious children who love experimenting, exploring and having fun.
