Our holiday camps combine science, sport, and discovery in a truly unique setting designed to make the school holidays exciting, enriching, and memorable.
Based on a static boat, the camp offers a very special environment with heating, air conditioning, beautiful views across Lake Zurich, access to a large sports field, and a fantastic adventure playground nearby. It is a setting that brings together comfort, adventure, and inspiration, creating the perfect backdrop for a week of learning, play, and exploration.
Designed for children aged 5–11, each camp brings together hands-on science, creative activities, active play, and engaging educational experiences. Every day is carefully planned to spark curiosity, build confidence, and encourage a genuine love of learning. Through exciting workshops and varied activities, children develop scientific enquiry skills, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, independence, and resilience, all while having enormous fun.
A special highlight of the week is the trip day, which adds an extra sense of adventure to the camp experience. For excursions, children travel in Spark Science vehicles specially equipped with child safety seats, allowing them to travel safely and comfortably as part of the day’s journey.
More than just a holiday camp, this is a place where children can make new friends, try new things, grow in confidence, and enjoy a dynamic programme that balances learning, movement, and creativity. Children leave with happy memories, new skills, and a lasting sense of achievement from a week filled with discovery and adventure.

Camp Description
Step into the natural world with us for a week of discovery, exploration, outdoor adventure, and hands-on science at our Wild Wonders of Nature camp. This exciting holiday programme is designed for children who love animals, plants, mini beasts, messy investigations, and being active outdoors.
Throughout the week, children will explore the wonders of life on Earth through a wide variety of exciting workshops and nature-based activities. We begin by getting our hands into the soil at our Germination Station, where children learn how seeds sprout and grow. They will also discover the amazing process of metamorphosis, exploring how tiny creatures can change and develop in incredible ways.
As the week continues, children will investigate the natural world more closely through sessions such as Flower Power, Buzzing Bees, and Mini Beast Detectives, where they will learn about pollination, insects, habitats, and the important role tiny creatures play in the environment. In Garden Potions, children will mix, create, and experiment using nature-inspired materials, while Soil and Worms helps them uncover what is happening beneath their feet and why healthy soil matters so much.
Animal lovers will especially enjoy our visits and wildlife sessions. We will spend time at the Bird Sanctuary, learning more about birds and their habitats, and later in the week children will head off on a very special Wild Wonders Adventure to visit an alpaca farm, where they will meet and walk alpacas in a beautiful outdoor setting.
The camp also includes some brilliant opportunities for children to work scientifically and investigate nature up close. On Friday, children will enjoy pond dipping, where they can search for creatures living in the water, followed by microscopes and aquatic life, taking a closer look at what they have found. They will also take part in an owl pellet dissection, discovering what owls eat and how scientists learn about food chains, before finishing the week with a fake frog dissection to explore basic anatomy in a child-friendly and engaging way.
Alongside the science and nature investigations, there is also plenty of time for movement, play, and adventure. Children will enjoy sports, games, circle time, and a fun treasure hunt and cosy campfire to round off the week together.
Wild Wonders of Nature is a camp full of curiosity, creativity, outdoor learning, and unforgettable experiences. It is perfect for children who love animals, enjoy asking questions, and are happiest exploring the world around them. From seeds and soil to bees, birds, ponds, and alpacas, this is a week packed with nature, fun, and real discovery.
At Spark Science, we believe some of the best science learning happens outdoors, with muddy hands, wide eyes, and a sense of adventure — and this camp is a wonderful celebration of exactly that.
