Service Description

Our after-school science programme offers an exciting, hands-on journey through chemistry, biology, physics, and technology, designed to spark curiosity and build confidence in young learners. Children will explore chemical reactions by making elephant’s toothpaste, investigate acids and alkalis through colourful fizzing experiments, and create their own natural pH indicator using red cabbage. They'll learn about DNA by extracting it from strawberries and exploring simple genetics, and may even build an edible DNA model to take home. Through microscopy, children will develop observational and analytical skills as they examine insect parts, plant cells, and even living organisms under real microscopes. They'll also gain early coding and problem-solving skills by programming Dash robots and experience the basics of electrical circuits by building and decorating their own moving bristlebots. Across the programme, children will enhance their scientific thinking, experiment planning, observation, teamwork, and creativity, all while having fun and developing a lifelong love of science.
