We need:

Clear floor space where the children can sit in a semi circle around our presenter with at least 2 meters distance between child and presenter.

Access to a sink / drain and running water.

A table large enough for the children to stand around to do their experiments on.

• Electricity - If you choose the Add-On Cotton Candy.

Each party has a different recommended age. Some parties are adapted to make them suitable for age 5-11 years like Bubbles, Bangs and Burning, Rainbows and Unicorns, Dino Dig and Potions Party. Other parties like Harry Potter party is recommened for slightly older children who have an understanding of the Harry Potter storyline. SubZero science contains experiments that are not suitable for children under 7.

Our parties are not suitable for children younger than 5 due to the need to be able to follow instructions and perform simple experiments.

Our presenters’ first language is English, but both Kilowatt Katy and Rocket Reece also speak German and are experienced in delivering parties in German.

We will contact you within the week of the party where you can makes changes to the children numbers and add or change details of your party. We will do our best to accomodate requests.

Yes, where possible. Dry ice can usually be added up to 72 hours before the party, as we purchase it from our suppliers on the Friday before the weekend. Cotton candy and party bags may also be added closer to the date, subject to availability. We will always do our best to accommodate last-minute requests.

Our parties are designed for up to 10 children. We can accommodate up to 14 children in total, including the birthday child and any siblings. For parties with more than 10 children, an additional fee applies for each extra child. If you would like to invite more than 14 children, please email us. In some cases this may be possible if an additional presenter is available, but this cannot be guaranteed.

Travel within 30 minutes of 8926 Zürich is included in the party price. For venues more than 30 minutes away, an additional mileage fee applies to cover extra travel time and staffing costs. We travel up to a maximum of 50 minutes from 8926 Zürich, calculated using Google Maps.

The earlier you cancel the more money we can refund you minus processing fees.

We do everything we can to make sure the children have lots of fun without worrying too much about the mess, while also ensuring that the venue is left in the same condition as we found it. We provide table protectors and maintain close supervision throughout the party entertainment. We ask that children remain at the table during the experiments, and we recommend wearing play clothes, as occasional spills can happen.

Our parties are thoroughly planned and assessed to minimize risk to the children and adults involved.

The chemicals we use are diluted to safe levels and within government safety guidelines. Where possible we use household ingredients.

We take preventative measures to ensure safety with Dry Ice. Children are not allowed to touch the Dry Ice. Doors and windows should be open where possible to ensure good ventilation.
