Service Description

Summer Season – Science Club The after-school science programme invites children to explore chemistry, biology, physics, and technology through engaging, hands-on experiments. Each session is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and encourage a love of discovery. The programme is open to all children; enrollment at SIS Rotkreuz International School is not required. This spring season features an entirely new set of workshops, with fresh themes and experiments not repeated from previous seasons. Sessions span a wide range of exciting topics, from circuits, motors, magnets, and lasers to heat, gases, sound, and smart materials. Children will also explore cells, senses, fossils, rocks, colour, light, and optical illusions, alongside creative challenges such as CSI-style investigations, pop rockets, bristlebots, and even making ice cream in just three minutes. Throughout the programme, children develop key scientific skills including observation, problem-solving, teamwork, and creative thinking, while enjoying meaningful, curiosity-driven learning in every session.
